Busy summer for the Gunners

The news that all Arsenal fans have been waiting to hear, 'Some new signings will be coming in'. This is according to Arsenal's chief executive Ivan Gazidis. Although he does go on to say that they will also be players leaving. "Some new signings will be coming in and some of our existing squad will be going out. As manager Arsene Wenger has said, it will be a busy close season for the club."
This goes on to provoke speculation about Captain Cesc Fàbregas making is out of Arsenal to join up with his hometown club F.C Barcelona. Arsenal rejected a 33million bid at the start of the 2010/2011 season. However this time the Catalan giants are set to launch a fresh bid with a player going the opposite direction.
Arsenal are busy with holding talks with Ivorian striker, Gervinho. Gervinho helped Lille to a league and cup double by scoring 15 league goals. The 24 year old has expressed his interest in playing for the North London based club, according to Lille's general manager Frederic Paquet, Speaking to a French Radio Station RMC, Paquet said "He wants to go and has developed contacts with Arsenal. He has expressed a desire to go to England. We will soon have talks with them and see what they offer."
