Justice for the 96

The families and loved ones connected to the 96 have not allowed this injustice lie for 22 years.  People question them. “Move on”, they say. Never is the reply.

Police incompetence, hiding the truth, and lack of emergency services. These were all to blame for the horrible incidents that occurred that day. Could we forgive them? Some might, some wont. The real anger we feel inside is how they’ve hidden the truth and showered our people with seas of lies. 

Take the responsibility. Instead of owning up to the mistakes you’ve made you instead chose to blame the ones that couldn’t fight their corner. Well you thought wrong. You forgot the spirit and the closeness of Liverpool, they don’t walk as one, they all walk together in unity; through any storm they will always keep their heads up high and through the darkness the eternal flame of the Liver bird will guide their way.

Thatcher covered up her lies and told her press advisor, Bernard Ingham, that a “tanked up mob” had caused this disaster. She then decides to agree with The Suns infamous front page headline, Fans urinating on the dead, stealing from the dead’s pockets. The truth thought to be forever hidden. Until now.

Due to an online petition which raised 140,000 signatures in a couple of weeks, Parliament will now allow the full release of uncensored government related documents about Hillsborough. This is surely a good start, and only time will tell if today was a victory for the families, they’ve been let down so many times before by the government who knows what will happen again. The one thing that Parliament is now certain of, is that this issue, will simply never go away, not until there is justice for the 96.

Chelsea Make A Bid For Lukaku

Sky sources have just revealed that this hour Chelsea have made an official offer for the Anderlecht striker. There is no concrete information on the fee, but is believed to be around £20m, £10m less than what the belgian club demanded in January. But with the player and agent really pushing for the move to London, Anderlecht maybe left with no choice but to sell the player at the price Chelsea want.

The Future Of Sneijder Takes Another Turn As Inter Offer Him To City In A Potential Swap Deal For Tevez

Inter Milan have reportedly proposed a sensational swap deal with Man City that could see Wesley Sneijder exchanged for Carlos Tevez. The deal would be a massive blow to City’s neighbours United, who despite recent denials, are still keen on the dutch star and would be devastated to see him move to their local rivals. 
Italian sources have told Manchester Evening News that Inter are keen on the unhappy City striker, and are willing to sacrifice the Dutchman in order to get him.
A swap deal would be likely to benefit City and Tevez, who are both supposedly eager to avoid a deal with Corinthians. No furhter details of the swap have yet been mentioned, but it is expected that the deal will not be a straight forward exchange. Inter's man has been recently valued in the media as a £35m target, whereas in City have made it very clear that Carlos will only be sold for £50m. So it is expected that City will negotiate with Inter to try recieve some sort of a fee for their man as well as the services of Sneijder.

Fergie Turns Attention To Paulo Henrique After The Sniejder Move Looks Off

Sir Alex Ferguson appears to be looking elsewhere to fill the massive gap left in midfield left by the departure of retired Paul Scholes, after failing to make any progress in signing his main summer targets - Wesley Sneijder and Samir Nasri.
Ferguson is believed to have received very positive feedback from United scouts about 21-year-old Ganso and is contemplating launching a bid for the midfielder, who has been dubbed the ‘new Kaka’.
United may face some stiff competition for the Brazilian though, with AC Milan and Paris St Germain also said to be interested and Spurs boss Harry Redknapp reportedly including the Santos player on his wish-list of summer signings.

Chelsea are ready to make a final £22million bid for Anderlecht star striker Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian club rejected a £17.7m offer from the Blues last month, demanding £30m for the teenager.
But new boss Andre Villas-Boas wants the striker at the club as quick as possible, as lukaku is a player seen as a long-term replacement for Didier Drogba.
Chelsea insist they will not be forced into offering Anderlechts original asking price but believe they can persuade them with a deal worth a total of £22 million with installments.
Eralier in the week it became apparant that Villas-Boas looks to have missed out on Porto striker Falcao, who has agreed a new deal in Portugal. And that just adds importance on the capture of Lukaku before the Premier League starts in four weeks time.

Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez Will Join Corinthians This Week, With Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero Replacing Him At Eastlands In A £45m Deal.

Carlos Tevez is set to move from ­Manchester City by the end of the week, with the £45 million Sergio Aguero replacing him. City have decided to give up on keeping their ­wantaway striker.Tevez is poised to join Brazilian club ­Corinthians if the clubs can agree a fee before Wednesday’s ­transfer ­deadline in Brazil.

City will immediately dip into their wallet to try sign Tevez’s Argentinian team-mate ­Aguero, who is unhappy at the spanish club.

Tevez’s exit creates a slight dent in City's progression to become a major force in european football, after finally accepting they can no longer keep their unhappy talisman. City boss Roberto Mancini will be given the Tevez cash to recruit Aguero. It has been reported that the Argentinian has a £45million get-out clause in his current contract.

Mancini yesterday admitted he was sympathetic to homesick Tevez's cause. City were hoping to raise £50million for their captain, but are now willing to lower their asking price. Sky sports last night revelaed that Corinthians had made an improved offer of £40 million, after their £35 million pound offer mid-week was rejected.   

Fergie Splashes 50 Million On 3 Young Stars In Search Of More Premier League Dominance

After several seasons of not spending big, Fergie has finally got the cheque book out and in bag fashion. Last Friday United captured their third summer target, when Spanish keeper David De Gea, 20, was unveiled at Old Traffrod, for a sum believed to be around £18.5 million, which would bring Ferguson's spending this summer up to £50 million. De Gea joins newcomers, Ashley Young and Phil Jones, in what looks like a new era at Old Trafford. With all three players at their early stages of their careers it is clear that Ferguson is centering his investments in the future, and will be looking to strike a successful balance between experience and youth. It is believed that Ferguson would still like to bring one more new face in this summer, the search to find a worthy replacement for the great Paul Scholes is still on going. Sneijder, Modric, Nasri or Adams, are the names being thrown around, they all posses quality in abundance but who has the sheer genuis to fill the boots of Paul Scholes.  

City To Challenge Fegie In The Race To Land Sneijder

Roberto Mancini is set to go head-to-head with bitter rival Sir Alex Ferguson in a £30m battle to land Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder. Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has madeWesley Sneijder his top prioroty after loosing the battle to land Alexis Sanchez from Udinese. It is understood Mancini’s growing frustration has made him turn his attentions to Sneijder, 27. The news will be a big blow to United boss Fergie, who has been tracking Sneijder for six months, having earmarked the Holland midfielder as the perfect replacement for Paul Scholes.
With City also offering Champions League football next season, Mancini hopes Sneijder’s experience and talent will help his side to become a major European powerhouse. This is not the first time this window United and City have clashed in wanting the same player. Sanchez has held talks with both Manchester clubs while Tottenham’s Luka Modric is also a target but Chelsea remain favourites to land the Croatian star.

Palacios To Move On To Make Way For Scotty Parker

Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios is on the brink of a £12m move to Italian side Napoli, which gives Spurs boss Harry Redknapp the funds to buy West Ham's Scott Parker. No talks between the london based clubs have yet taken place, but a move to the premiership for Parker is enivitable, and with his willingness to stay in London, Spurs are surely favourites.

Spurs join the race for Bolton's £17million rated English centre-back Gary Cahill.

Bolton chief Owen Coyle wants players in a part-exchange deal for Cahill as a straight cash deal would end up being used to pay up Boltons £90 million debt. Cahill will be allowed to leave the Reebok if any club meets a £17m release clause.
Coyle said: "People have to make sure they come up with the right offer.
"He won't be going on the cheap, that's for sure, Gary could play for anyone and looking at a few of the deals that are going on right now, it surprises me there hasn't been a concrete offer."
Redknapp could catapult defender Sebastien Bassong into the deal, while another option is for Danny Rose to be offered on a year's loan, giving him valuable experience. Spurs could also end up scrapping it out with London rivals Arsenal for Blackburn's Chris Samba, who has been under alot of speculation this summer.

Arsenal Are Ready To Make A £25 Million Bid For Mesut Özil

Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has today admitted that Real Madrid starlet Mesut Özil is a target. He admitted that the future of Fabragas is no longer in their hands, whilst he expressed his admiration in wanting to keep their skipper, he said that it is time to start looking for suitable replacements of the same calibre. It seems that Özil is now top of their priorities, and the income form the Fabragas transfer is likely to fund this move. Nothing concrete has come out of the Özil camp just yet, but it is believed that the german midfielder has had a recent bust up with manager Jose Mourinho, which has led to the recent rumours regarding his future at the club. Also interessted in the player are the two Manchester clubs who seem to have money in abundence this window so they will face a tough battle to land their man. 

David Villa To Join United

With todays news that Sanchez has snubbed United and City for Barcalona, rumours that the notably unhappy David Villa maybe on his way out of Barcalona, to create a space for their new signing, Sanchez. According to recent speculation, it is United that are leading the race to land Villa, it is rumoured that David Gill and other Manchester United representatives are flying out to spain tomorrow to meet with Villa and his agent, to try persuade the Spanish striker to join. There have been many figures flown around in the press about the estimated price but we believe Villa would cost United somewhere in the region of £35 million.

Breaking News- Barca's Andres Iniesta Could Be A City Player By Next Week According To The Players Agent

A spanish source this morning revealed that Iniesta's agent Ramón Sostres has met with Man City's CEO Garry Cook over a proposed staggering £60 million move. According to Ramón Sostres a £60 million fee has been agreed between the two clubs and that this ground breaking transfer is now in the advanced stages of personal terms. No comment has yet been made by either club but it is thought that the deal will be sealed if a monstrous £350,000 a week contract, desired by the spanish maestro, is brought to the table. This signing would be a huge coup for Man City, and will be a measure of their increased power in world football. Bringing in a player that was last year voted the 3rd best player in the world shows City's rapid development and shows how important Champions league football is in attracting the worlds best.

Modric - The missing piece of the puzzle.

His fee has been debated a lot this week, is he £20million, £30million or even the £40million demanded by Spurs?  One thing is for sure, he’s definitely worth more than £22million offered by Chelsea in this inflated transfer market. With Phil Jones leaving Blackburn for a reported fee of £18million, and Jordan Henderson leaving Sunderland for £20million, it is certainly not debatable to suggest Luka Modric is only worth 2-4million more than these players. 

“Little Mozart” they call him, and for a reason. The Croatian is the artist of every Spurs attack, he creates a picture in his mind when he’s on the ball, allowing him to be imaginative and adroit in possession; his 5 foot 7 inch diminutive frame always emerges with the ball, his low centre of gravity acting as a magnetic field in the mist of high-tempo tackling, his adhesive touch combined with the tactical awareness of his game shows why he’s highly rated by many expert pundits, and not least by ex Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Chelsea know that by signing Modric, he will hold the key to unlocking the goal drought of Fernando Torres, who’s been less than impressive to say the least since his arrival from Liverpool, but he’s a world class striker and when on form, he’s deadly. At only 25 years of age, Modric is suitable for now and the future. With the slow decline of Essien due to injury, and with Frank coming to the end of his career, Chelsea need someone to step up and take control of the midfield. They need someone who can make someone look foolish at the drop of a shoulder, a tailor made creative midfielder, and someone who’s going to be accounted for when the going gets tough.  Modric is that man.

With Rumours Of Clichy On His Way To Anfield, Arsenal Turn Their Attention To Newcastle’s José Enrique As A Possible Replacement

With recent speculation that Clichy could be the next departure at Arsenal, with a move to Liverpool looking icreasingly likely, Arsene Wenger is in the position of finding a replacement. It is the Magpies full back José Enrique who appears to be topping his list of targets, though Newcastle have expressed their willingness to hold onto the Spanish defender. Although sources from inside Arsenal seem to believe a fee of £10 milllion would secure the services of Enrique. 

Could Arsenal Swoop Defoe From North London Rivals Spurs In A Shock Move?

Arsenal are considering a sensational bid to bag Jermain Defoe from arch-rivals Tottenham. The England forward is looking to move on to another club after being frozen out at White Hart Lane last season. The striker, signed for £15.75million from Portsmouth two years ago, could now become the prolific goal scorer the Gunners have long been crying out for No fee has yet been mentioned, but Defoe is expected to become an Arsenal player if a fee of around £15 million pounds is agreed.

Ferguson Expected To Make A Suprise Offer For Charlie Adam In An Attempt To Lear Him Away From A Move To Anfield

Sir Alex Ferguson is plotting a sensational £12m bid to hijack Charlie Adam’s move to rivals Liverpool. Blackpool on Monday had admitted Liverpool boss Dalglish has opened talks over Charlie Adam. A £7m bid was rejected by the Seasiders in January but the Anfield club have gone back in for the Scotland international. But it is now understood, Manchester United boss Ferguson is set to go head-to-head with old rival Dalglish in attempt to capture the signature of Adam.

Could United Pip Barca And City To The Contract Of Sanchez?

The big story in this morning's papers concerns Alexis Sanchez. The Daily Mirror says the Reds are set to pinch the winger from under the noses of Barcelona and Manchester City. The report claims Udinese are trying to hang on to their man for as long as possible in order to maximise their fee, but the player has made it clear he wishes to join United ahead of all other suitors. A fee around £27 million is expected to swoop the Chilean winger.

Jordan Henderson shows Liverpool's commitment to Youth.

An estimated £55m has been invested since Christmas to bring Andy Carroll and Jordan Henderson from Newcastle and Sunderland. These two players each show great promise and heaps of potential, however both  have only ever produced one full season between them.

Liverpool no longer have the attractiveness of Champions League football which captures the eyes of world class players, so instead FSG's attention has turned to young, emerging, British players, who are willing to show pride and determination which some foreign players like N'gog, Poulsen and Ryan Babel clearly lacked.

They cannot provide concrete evidence that a Premier League winner's medal is achievable at Anfield, but Liverpool are showing signs that they are rising rise like a phoenix from the ashes, and pushing to retain their position as the best team in the land.

With the battering ram of Caroll, the technical ability of Henderson, and the Uruguayan Luis Suarez, who's been a Kop hit since his arrival from the Dutch champions Ajax for a fee of £22.8m, shows young players that the policy and rebuilding project they are conducting will ultimately achieve their aims of a return to the Champions league.

In recent weeks Liverpool have lost out on two up and coming british talents in the likes of Jones and Young. However, Dalglish has alternatives to these, such as Scott Dann, Stewart Downing, Connor Wickham, and Charlie Adam of Blackpool, this shows that the Liverpool board are willing to spend big to instill a winning mentality back to the club.

Could Ronaldo Be Back At Old Trafford

Could it be? According to Cristiano Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, it is a possibilty. Though much of the speculation regarding Ronaldo's future has been centered around Manchester City, it is the other side of Manchester that seems to be attracting the Portuguese winger once again. Jorge Mendes claims that if United can produce an offer in the region of the £150 million, and £400 000 a week wages that City were willing to pay, then Ronaldo will once again be in a United shirt.

Busy summer for the Gunners

The news that all Arsenal fans have been waiting to hear, 'Some new signings will be coming in'. This is according to Arsenal's chief executive Ivan Gazidis. Although he does go on to say that they will also be players leaving. "Some new signings will be coming in and some of our existing squad will be going out. As manager Arsene Wenger has said, it will be a busy close season for the club."
This goes on to provoke speculation about Captain Cesc Fàbregas making is out of Arsenal to join up with his hometown club F.C Barcelona. Arsenal rejected a 33million bid at the start of the 2010/2011 season. However this time the Catalan giants are set to launch a fresh bid with a player going the opposite direction.
Arsenal are busy with holding talks with Ivorian striker, Gervinho. Gervinho helped Lille to a league and cup double by scoring 15 league goals. The 24 year old has expressed his interest in playing for the North London based club, according to Lille's general manager Frederic Paquet, Speaking to a French Radio Station RMC, Paquet said "He wants to go and has developed contacts with Arsenal. He has expressed a desire to go to England. We will soon have talks with them and see what they offer."

Sneijder On His Way Out Of Inter- But To Who United or Chelsea?

 Now then, Tuttosport. The Italian sports daily claims Wesley Sneijder may indeed be leaving Inter Milan, once they can find a suitable replacement. United and Chelsea are both strongly linked with the Dutch international, but it is reported that Sneijder is undecided on who he would rather join. Manchester United are strong favourites as they have already registered their intrest for the player but with recent news coming from Stamford Bridge that Essien could be heading in the other directon to Inter, would suggest the Londoners are back in the race. It is thought that the Dutch midfielder could cost either club upto £35 million.

Oyston confirms Adam to Liverpool talks

In an interview today Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston confirmed that the Seasiders have held talks with Liverpool over the transfer of skipper Charlie Adam, however sources suggest no concrete offer has been brought to the table so far.

Speculation over Adam's future has been growing in recent days, with several sources claiming that Liverpool are close to a £10 million deal for the midfielder. Liverpool were subject to a £6million offer in January, which was swiftly rejected by Blackpool and was considered a joke by boss Ian Holloway.

Oyston said:

'We've had a few very preliminary discussions [with Liverpool] and enquiries but nothing of any substance so there really is nothing to report at this stage about interest from anyone.'
